Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

My First Easel Card

Hello Friends :) Here is my first easel card and also it is the first Christmas card I made for this year. Recently I got two Cosy Christmas design paper pack of Forever Friends Hallmark cards. The Snowflakes design paper used in this card is from that pack. I have lot of items in my To do list for Christmas. This Easel card is the first one.

I have used silver and golden colour handmade papers for Christmas Tree and glittered the borders and have used gems, punched borders, bow on the base to make the card stand.

This weeks's scripture at SSIC is "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."  And the challenge is Sharing : use 2 of everything you use.  Among all of the materials used in my card ribbons, glitters, handmade paper, design paper and gems are used twice.

I have got the feel of Christmas this time much earlier than I used to have. I am so delighted and more enthusiastic than ever. Very eagerly awaiting for the Christmas month.

I am entering this card in  SSIC, Crazy for Challenges - Create something for an upcoming holiday , Little Claire's - Christmas, Lily Of the Valley - Warm and Cozy, Floweret - Christmas, Anything goes - Diecuts/ punches or both, Make It Monday , Papertake weekly Challenge - Shapes, Waltzingmouse sketch , Paper shelter - Animals, KB Cute Monday - Anything goes, Aud Sentiments - Winter Theme, Christmas Inspirations - must be christmas- die cuts or punches, All Sorts Challenge - Christmas Easel card.

How is it ? Do post your valuable comments. It makes me really happy and I love to read it :) Will be back soon with other Christmas projects. Advance Christmas Greetings :) Thanks for visiting :)
